This software provides a VES data interpretation tool. To download it, click here. If you're having trouble, please enter your email address in the form at the bottom of this page and we'll send you an attachment. You can also download the VES software directly from our web site. The solution surface and volume models from the software are identical to those contained in the 1D VES software. The following is a brief overview of the depth/layer-making capability of VES. Well, not a few sentences. Rather, I’m going to make this into a blog post. I've been sitting with that question for a few months now. Maybe it’s because I was asked, or maybe it’s because I’ve recently been teaching at Soul Yoga Los Angeles. For me, it kind of started with something a good friend told me a couple of years ago when I was teaching at a large-ish yoga studio. She told me that she typically taught her students on Sunday afternoon, and as students came to class that day she asked them to define what mindfulness meant to them. Quite simply, I suppose she was asking them to define their experience of that class. Was it mindful? As I walked through the door for Sunday classes, she asked each person, one at a time, to share their answers to that question. Student: “Mindfulness means when I’m playing tennis, I’m not worrying about the score, I’m not thinking about if I’m going to lose, or if my opponent is going to get lucky, or if I should wear my thongs or my tennis skirt.” She then asked, “What do you think of when I play tennis?” What was I doing? I went numb. I couldn’t think of a single thing. She asked, “What are you doing?” I said, “I’m breathing.” 55cdc1ed1c
